Our History

Voler – Thieves of Flight Performance Ensemble began as a collaboration of performers and dancers who wanted to expand their skills in the air. While training with nationally recognized teacher, Lynn Coleman, Voler – Thieves of Flight was created in Kansas City in 2007.

The first performance season was in 2008 where a strong presence in Kansas City was established through venues and organizations such as the Kansas City Fringe Festival, the Foundation and Crosstown Station.

Since 2007, Voler – Thieves of Flight has become a full production ensemble of aerialists and dancers. Collaborating with bands, videographers, artists and organizations, Voler performances are colorful and memorable. Voler – Thieves of Flight performers have been featured nationally and internationally. For more information, please contact us at info@thievesofflight.com.
